She meets and beats her deadlines consistently, her communication skills are unmatched, she goes above and beyond and she thinks through every logistic. “Ever since I saw Tessa’s work through other friends, I knew I wanted her for my wedding. Her photos are truly a step above others that I’ve seen and have always caught my eye. Engagement: Taylor & Mookie

“We had an amazing time with Tessa during our engagement shoot. My fiancé and I really wanted to feel and look authentic in our photos, but have a very difficult time doing that naturally when we’re behind the camera. Tessa gave amazing direction and made us both feel so comfortable in being our true selves. We felt completely at ease with her, which allowed us to be as happy, free-spirited, dorky, and in love as we are throughout the entire photoshoot. She also loves dogs so we were able to have our sweet pug, Hank, in some of the photos. We are having the hardest time narrowing down one photo for our save the dates because we really love them all! Along with being very welcoming, upbeat, professional, and approachable, Tessa has a beautiful editing style. She incorporates natural lighting so well and brings that out even more during edits. “I can’t recommend Tessa enough! My fiancé and I hired her as our wedding photographer after seeing her amazing work for our friend’s wedding. She is traveling two states away on her 30th birthday weekend for our wedding, and she’s still less expensive than the comparable photographers in the area! She also threw in a free engagement photoshoot, which she also had to travel for. I really appreciated that she worked with me on price too. We figured out exactly how many hours I needed and made sure it fit with my budget. We had our engagement shoot in Chicago. Even though we are from Chicago, my fiancé and I had no clue where to take pictures. Tessa did her research and gave us so many options! We ended up with a little of everything – street art, bridges and skylines, and the beach. She also gave us such great direction. My fiancé and I had no experience with photoshoots before, but Tessa made it feel natural, easy, and fun. She’s also super efficient, so I know that will be great for my wedding day. “Tessa was our wedding photographer in September 2018. She did an AMAZING job and we were so happy with all of the photos!

It rained on our wedding day, but Tessa did not mind getting a little wet to take outdoor photos of us and our wedding party. It was an overcast and gloomy day, but I loved the way that she edited the photos because all of the colors are light and bright.

Tessa is great to work with because she helped us stick to our timeline and made sure to capture all of the photo combinations that we had previously discussed (including ones with our golden retriever)!
